Puzzle Party

When Lukas turned 3 it was a breeze to choose a theme for his party. He was crazy over puzzles and had an incredible ability to do puzzles. We’re not talking the ones with the wooden knobs. He loved to do all kinds. Easy,  intricate, if it was a puzzle he was working on it. So it was settled…PUZZLE PARTY.

For the invitations I bought plain white puzzles at Michaels.

Wrote the actual invite on it, took it apart and stuffed it in an envelope.

I made this banner. I took forever to paint, but I loved it.

I just made a regular sized  cake . I made the cake and icing from scratch and colored the icing. This didn’t quite come out how I wanted, but what can you do.

He loved it and that’s what’s important.

I bought a bunch of those wooden coloring puzzles at Michaels and had competitions putting them together. IMG_2381 IMG_2383 IMG_2385 IMG_2386

We did have a pinata. Nothing spectacular. It was raining so we had to improvise and do it inside. We ended up using a mop handle to hang it while the hubby held it up. When it broke off of it…then he just hand held it.
